Dumai, SelayangNews.com - Right now, it feels like English has become the soul for us who want to stay existing and connected in a world that’s getting more global. Not just for school or exams, but for daily life, career, even for hanging out on social media.

Have you ever felt like you couldn’t connect with your friends or new people because you didn’t understand English? For example, when hanging out with friends who are chatting using English terms or talking with people from other countries, and you just stay quiet because you don’t get it. Scary, right? This is what makes me really sure that English isn’t just a subject to be studied, but also a bridge to connect with the world.

Besides that, there are so many opportunities that only open up for you if you’re good at English. For example, working at a cool company, getting a scholarship, or even just watching your favorite movie without subtitles. Basically, English is like a VIP ticket that lets you enter many doors of opportunity.

But, don’t get it wrong, learning English doesn’t have to make you stressed or bored. Now there are many fun ways to improve your skills, from watching series, listening to songs, playing online games, to chatting directly with foreigners through apps. So, learning English can be something fun and make you more confident.

So, if you still think “Ah, English is hard, I’m too lazy,” try changing that mindset. Because if you don’t start now, you might miss out on fun moments and golden opportunities in the future. Remember, no English, no connection! Can’t speak English? Then be ready to lose connection with the world.
